@vega_holdings@EvenRealities I'm really considering the Even Realities G2, they've got some sort of SDK. People are developing apps for it on their subreddit, but mostly I like that it doesn't have a camera and it's as normal looking as smart glasses get
@averagearc Looks like it's going onto a linear rail carriage? Probably for the best to not use countersinks anyway. I've never liked that they're self-locating for applications like this.
I've never understood why Prusa's idea of nozzle cleaning is "smash the tip into the bed so all the oozed plastic from the preheat can get smooshed all over the nozzle"
I've seen too many startups where the explanation of what they were doing was a complete word salad that left me with more questions than when I started. Mark my words, if I do a startup I'll be able to explain it to a sixth-grader.
Having high standards for clarity is useful in lots of other kinds of work too. It's very useful when I'm advising startups at Y Combinator. I ask founders what they plan to do. Their initial answer is a muddy pool. Then we make it clear โ not just what to say, but what to do.
@ManishEarth Pros: We have poutine and smoked meat sandwiches in addition to the dogs.
Cons: 1/2 the selection of items at best. Notably, the protein sodas are missing.
@ManishEarth Nah Toronto Costcos have insane congestion. I went to the Iwilei location in Honolulu which is supposedly the busiest Costco in the world, and found it pleasantly easy to navigate compared to anything local to me
