The path to irrelevance leads over the towering wall of debt, around the bramble of payment cuts and through the forest of burnout to the edge of the river of opportunity.
Many will stand on the edge.
A few will be strong enough to swim upstream.

3 weeks s/p ACL-R... way more than just quad sets and SLR happening here! Hoping to add BFR at @MammothHospital within the next year so that our patients can rebound faster and back on the mountain without significant LE strength differences.
1st IP rotation - solo- as a #FreshPT... 2nd Pt went down (LOC) after standing up s/p THA. She was hispanic (interpreter on the phone) which only added to the confusion. She was on the bed and had a smooth landing... no harm done. Can't say I am not a little freaked out!
I see these mistakes all the time in the clinic when strengthening the glutes:
7) NOT UTILIZING THE MIND-MUSCLE CONNECTION
10) NOT PUSHING THROUGH THE FULL FOOT
11) INABILITY TO ISOLATE THE GLUTES

Thank you @ISPITeam for your generous prize awarded for being the “freshest” #freshPT at the #align2018 conference! Pts & therapists at UChealth will all benefit from your generosity. I won’t let it go to waste!
My take home message from #align2018... Stay current with the research & clinical practice because paradigms shift & you don’t want to be left behind.
Maybe we should in some was view the nervous system, not as central or peripheral, but just a nervous system. And we have to include the immune system as it can not be separated from the nervous system. Neuroimmune #align2018
