Exploring the future of #AI. Envisioning a Universe filled with Life. Imagining how humanity will ultimately be domesticated by the non-organic life we create.
@NotAvgLiberal The likelihood of their business growing is slim to none. Lacking basic critical thinking and self-analysis skills should be the scarlet letter of our age. You can either be an adult with the skills to match or the rest of the adults should leave you behind in their economic dust
@YourAnonNews Yeah… we’ve been hoping for that for 45 years and what has it gotten us. The “I’ve got spine” democrats are all in the history books from the early 1900s. We’ve got the inbred offspring of them for our era apparently.
@ayaankaran_ Quite the opposite. We have a under taxed problem. Europe, our closest cultural cousin, spends more and achieves the lifestyle and safety net we dream of. They have problems, but paying bills ain’t one of them.
@beinlibertarian Correct. But they are great at giving breaks to the asset owners that choose to pay you less every year even while your productivity goes up.
@sarrah_bellus We’re bound to use the tools of our enemy to wage this war. They crossed all lines and blew through any societal norm. We’ll stop when they accept responsibility for the lines they allowed us to cross.
@MorosKostas Or, just going back to taxing the rich like we did in the 50s and 60s. Bring back 70-90% top marginal tax rates and watch deficits disappear and services become more available for average citizens.
@Empisiiii@parker_nw If you did that, could anyone that isn’t rich afford to serve in Congress? So you want a congress only made up of Nepo-babies? That’s what you’d get.
@RossKneeDeep No. Our system hasn’t yet been designed to shed the notion that privilege can be stripped Judicially. We have a multi-tiered system of justice that is too weak to rectify criminal harm. Look at Alex Jones. Scott Bessent. Howard Lutnick. And many more. Justice isn’t coming.
@YeezyDubya Conservatives have never been fiscally conservative. If they were then they’d go back to the tax policies of the “good ole days” of the 50s and 60s when the top rate was 70-90%. That would be truly conservative.
@RandPaul Way easier to just tax the wealthy like we did in the 50s and 60s, like Europe does today. Magically we’ll get balanced budgets and better services for everyone.
@FmrRepMTG Wasn’t Trump always like this? You just happened to be dumb enough to believe his lie of ever being America-First. That man has never been anything other than Trump-First and Trump-Only. Are you reflecting on that reality. None of you ever changed. You’re just finally catching up
