Had a nice dinner with my better half at Pomme Frite Belgian restaurant in Palm Springs.
Having a child with disabilities makes it tough to get out on dates, as does having ac full coaching schedule, but when it happens it’s a reminder that relationships need this.
It’s not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
@JJWhitesnake@fopminui@MattWallace888 This is the comment I was looking for. 100%. Maybe pool noodles and duct tape or something, but yeah.... it's gonna happen.
@coryswan Aaaand followed. Thanks for that. I rely on a friend to be my BTC seeing eye dog, and in his absence (Labor Day and all) I almost had a 53-year-old knee-jerk reaction to this stupid email. Holy fuck would that have sucked.
I once very ironically suggested that someone could market a leather belt with a big Bible for a buckle and call it a Bible Belt.
We all agreed it had to apart have been done, and dropped it.
Not even a month later a guy on the Internet, which was a relatively new thing, started making $$$ selling exactly this. His quote was something like, “I was surprised no one had done it”. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
@AJAmmirabilis@greg16676935420 I mean a jockstrap or some sort of athletic support, sure. But just the idea that you can just tuck your junk between your thighs? The mechanics of that doesn't check out. It still has mass, which is prohibitive to movement, and it definitely doesn't feel good.
Miles Davis famously said, "If Al Green had one tit I'd marry that motherfucker." That's how I feel about Coach Faisal (the speaker in this video). This dude went from coaching client to master coach by walking his own talk. Listen to the man. He's trying to tell you something. [https://t.co/2woR6waaYP]

Little dogs bark, big dogs bite. Don't make the mistake of sleeping on a nice guy, a quite guy, a polite guy, or a patient guy. Also, don't imitate wannabe tough-guys thinking this makes you seem "alpha". It doesn't. [https://t.co/wQpvoMRSnL]
Right. Small room full of paintings, myself at a desk, no one else in there. So them walking in from the street is very intimate; you’re walking into my space.
And yeah — walk in, point, shoot, and walk out without asking first or even acknowledging me after having done so.
And it usually wasn’t the drunk American tourists with the beads and the plastic booze cups… it was International tourists there either sightseeing or there for a convention.
I guess it just shows how removed tourists can feel when they travel… like they’re at a theme park, and we’re all character actors in costume.
Earth. Ridiculous place. But the food is good.
There's a misconception that any culture that is Pro-MALE is toxic and necessarily anti-FEMALE. That couldn't be further from the truth.... or at least OUR truth here at Man-UP! Life Coaching. Got opinions? Let's hear them. Know a bro who might benefit from our services? Send him to us. [https://t.co/2woR6waaYP]
Are you a guy who has experienced significant trauma? If so, you are probably familiar with the term Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
I want to share a thought with you quickly, without making a whole thing out of it. Trust me, I have my battle scars and am extremely qualified to give you this advice:
1) Rather than saying (or even thinking) "I suffer from PTSD", say instead, "I manage PTSD".
2) Once you accept responsibility for what management really means, take ownership and do the work.
3) f you can't do it alone, get help. The trauma you've experienced may not have been in your control, but the choices you make moving forward are.
Seriously brother. And if you don't find anyone else in this word who can help you. hit me up. This is what I do. Not a solicitation... just saying. Real talk, no bullshit.

@gunsnrosesgirl3 Taking responsibility for my emotional reactions in stressful situations, rather than blaming external stimulus as a way of justifying them.
@blxckoflagos Keep that violence in check. Even if it’s just emotional/psychological violence and never actually use your hands, the damage you do can’t be undone, and the regret is real.
Trust me.
If you spend your energy worrying about what other people think of you, you’re doing life wrong. Watch the video. Share the video. This is something lots of guys really need to hear. If you relate, visit us —-> [https://t.co/wQpvoMSqdj] 👊💥
@thinkingwest With no information other than “pick a sword, here are your choices” — I went with the Indian Saber (Tulwar).
Considerations included size, weight, striking options based on design, situational versatility, hand protection, weapon retention.
