Every 24x7 banking service has a banker behind it and a family waiting at home. We agreed to the 5-day week in March 2024 and accepted longer weekday hours. The regulator, the insurer and the Government all work 5 days.

RBI has been on 5 days for years.
In 2015 RBI even changed payment systems when you closed two Saturdays.
The regulator can adapt. The ministry is the bottleneck.
