We can help Australia in so many industries but we can’t because we have been told to wait till july 2022 just to apply for new visas and no one knows how long it would take for our visas to be processed

Australia is facing staff shortage problem & students are given extra hours to work. Which is fair enoug! One thing which I can't understand @AlexHawkeMP why 485visa holders not allowed to enter into country by issuing replacement visa earlier than July to overcome staff problem

Staff shortages were entirely predictable given the spread of COVID, yet solution is easy.
Rather than making them wait until July 2022, expedite the return of expired student & professional Visa holders who were unable to enter Australia due to COVID.
