@Matt_Pinner I still think Henry Cavill would be perfect. Switch it up and go back to a Roger Moore / Pierce Brosnan style Bond, with a little of the Daniel Craig realism sprinkled in, and let Henry bring his own thing.

Moore was 45 when he started. Cavill is currently 42. It would work.

@jtimsuggs The lightsaber fights were the best part of The Acolyte. The Stranger was an interesting villain that I’d like to know more about. I didn’t like the idea of Plagueis being introduced in a television series, but it still made me want more.

The reason they are different actors isn’t because of the lore, but because of different studios having the rights. Same reason Chris Evans was Johnny Storm in Deadpool & Wolverine.

They’re suggesting the entire film would be female led. You’re talking about a similar, but still completely different thing.
