@pitchforkedpuck @pvtmcbain Doesn’t have to be $11.7M AAV. On any offer sheet longer than 5 years, you divide the total dollar amount by 5 to determine the AAV and the resulting comp. So a 7 x $8.36M offer sheet would equate to $11.7M AAV for comp (four 1st rounders)

more years, you divide the total contract amount by 5 to determine the AAV for compensation purposes? So Knies would only need to sign a 7 x $8.36M offer sheet to be in the four 1st round pick comp territory
