We're thrilled to have Jafar onboard, but we’re not stopping here! We’re inviting new research sites with primates to join the project-as long as they comply with our ethical guidelines. If you’re interested in joining, reach out to learn how you can contribute!

In this experiment, Jafar faces a fun challenge: he’s presented with two cups. By observing the content of just one cup, he deduces what must be in the other! 🧠 It’s amazing to see his problem-solving skills in action, giving us insight into primate cognition and learning.

What about the brain best predicts short-term memory in primates?

In our new paper, we found that whole brain size - not specific regions or EQ - is the best predictor. This suggests domain-general rather than specific cognitive foundations.
