@mo_lotfollahi scArches is a great tool. We've been using it a lot on our data recently.
Also very happy to see the effort to bring various organoid protocols together and cross reference them with the fetal atlas. Harmonizing cell type labels across data sets is what the field needs
Two years ago BioIcons was launched and the database has grown by almost 800 icons thanks to many scientists contributing illustrations ☺️

@dgonzales1990 @GallowayLabMIT In addition to above, I've also found a literature roundtable useful. Every couple months everyone screens a watchlist of journals to identify new papers relevant to the group. Not going through each paper in detail, but just discussing the abstracts to Highlight what's out there
Would appreciate any job leads ppl might have for a native English speaker (w/ ~B1 German) in Cologne! Academic or non-academic; project management, communication, event planning, writing/editing, research, teaching, etc.
@neurodaniela@PhDVoice Be kind and patient. Learning new things takes time and repetition. Demonstrate what you want to teach first, but then let them try it themselves, so they can learn hands-on.
Things which are obvious to you may not be to a beginner, check in regularly if everything is clear.
