Seems like @RaheemKassam is unhappy with people calling the Orr/Jukes reputation management report - comissioned by a reputation management barrister for ReformUK - a reputation management report. Please don't call it that way.
Michael Douglas wrote an autobiography? Yes he did! “One Helluva Ride” is a freaking great book! A straight up, no holds barred, page turner. I was bawling one minute and hysterically pissing myself with laughter the next. (1 of 2)
Average annual MPs' expense claims for 2024/2025 was approx. £226,185; an annual cost of £147,020,050 to the taxpayer for 650 MPs, on top of their salaries, plus subsidised booze and food in Westminster. Now that's what I call a Benefits Scrounge Part 5.

Some of “Honest Bob” Jenrick’s recent rhetoric increasingly echoes interwar and Nazi-era themes. Everyone who knows Britain’s twentieth-century history and who genuinely cares about British values should be concerned.
Complaining that a neighbourhood had no white faces, calling that not the country he wants, and tying national decline to communities becoming “unrecognisable” tracks the old far-right preoccupation with ethnic presence as a measure of whether a place still belongs to “us.”
“Take our country back” and “build this new order,” set next to that, pick up the restoration-and-reordering note that Neuordnung and kindred slogans also used.Demographic anxiety plus a promise to remake the settlement is a recognisable family of rhetoric, even when the programme underneath is immigration control and integration rather than conquest or racial law.
The echo is partial, but that still matters. Nazi-era language tied those themes to biological hierarchy, territorial expansion, and the removal or destruction of named groups. Jenrick’s versions come with an explicit denial that it is about skin colour or faith, a stated integration aim, and no equivalent programme.
“Parallel lives” is borrowed from post-2001 cohesion reports, not from völkisch writing. An echo can be real without the speaker importing the original doctrine, and it can be heard by an audience whether or not he intended the historical reference, but given he is married to a Jewish woman, it is certainly plausible that he is not unfamiliar with the kind of rhetoric he now uses.
Parts of the rhetoric now audibly resemble Nazi-era and broader interwar nationalist themes about ethnic composition and national recovery, without being those themes restated.
In a recent interview with Dan Wootton on his Outspoken YouTube show (see next tweet), several lines use themes that belong to the Nazi-era and wider interwar nationalist repertoire.
New: Trump wants to transform his West Palm Beach golf club into a presidential retreat modeled after Camp David where future presidents and heads of state can visit — and he’ll comp memberships for his successors https://t.co/oSekcGc1mt
NB. Nigel ‘NF’ Farage has been a blatant and unrepentant peddler of anti-Semitic smears and tropes his entire adult life, prejudices he has had since his schooldays. He lets the mask slip for his white suprematist audience over in the USA. He is in no position to lecture anyone.
Yesterday, I attended Huddersfield Town Hall to chair school transport appeals. Some of the cases were deeply emotional, and the day became overwhelming.
A Cabinet meeting took place shortly afterwards.
I did not attend because I had commitments in my ward. I later watched colleagues question the recent comments made by Tracey, a sitting councillor, and saw the Leader of Kirklees publicly support her.
Many people may not know that I have asked to meet with members of the Reform Cabinet to improve communication and build a more constructive working relationship.
Some had agreed to meet.
I was then told by the Leader, Sarah Wood, that I could not meet with Cabinet members. She asked to meet with me to discuss communication and other issues, this makes very little sense to me especially when the leader has stopped her cabinet communicating with me.
Regardless I arranged to meet to put my issues to her directly.
After seeing the Leader’s public response to those comments, I feel uneasy about that meeting. I am uncomfortable serving in a council where racist language can be defended or excused.
I will be writing to the Leader today and giving her a final opportunity to clearly condemn the abhorrent comments made by her colleague.
I am mixed race, and proud of it. I am Catholic, and I have Christian and Muslim family members. My grandmother was of Irish descent and my grandfather was Pakistani.
The children in my life, who motivate so much of my work, are mixed race too. They have experienced more racism than I did growing up.
That should make us stop and ask why, as a society, we seem to be moving backwards.
I will not stand by silently, and neither will my colleagues.

Public office is a responsibility.
A title means very little without the courage to stand up for people’s dignity and to challenge racism wherever it appears.
Really! Why the fuck didn't you build prisons before, why did you fuck up the criminal system and the probation service? 14 fucking years of your vandalism. You disgust me!
So Adam Richardson, the author of the "Reform report" on Jukes/Orr, is doing for Reform what his brother Matthew did for UKIP...
I keep telling you. Tutti famiglia.
Glad to find fave Jeffrey Archer anecdote, in an old @andrewrawnsley piece, on asking him where the toilet in his non-penthouse was: '"Go past the Picasso, left at the Matisse.'" The paintings - in contrast to their owner - were not fakes.' Terrific: https://t.co/6PGectDbJf
Trump now says that Secret Service and the Military asked him to convert his West Palm Beach golf course into a new version of Camp David.
Of all the things that didn't happen today, this didn't happen the most.
