Today I presented our results on emotional granularity and music. Exciting individual differences: empathic concern predicts higher EG for positive emotions in music and alexithymia is a neg predictor of EG ambiguous emotions (tenderness and longing). #musicscience#icmpc17

New paper out by Randall @MuPsychApp , Saarikallio, and I. Here we looked at how successful listeners are at achieving their emotional goals through a short period of music listening and what predicts that success
