@ShiannonC@Telstra@NBN_Australia Telecommunications Ombudsman is the way to proceed when you have an unresolved issue with Telstra and NBN.
I lodged a complaint on behalf of my Mum and many other residents in a retirement village after weeks of inaction, finally resolved in a couple of days.
Good luck 🤞
(Sidenote: She’s also the author of the incredible “The Accidental Prime Minister” exploring Morrison’s rise to power and leadership style. So she knows a bit about machinations of power at the top of the Libs.)

It’s well past time to raise the age of criminal responsibility - stories like Aunty Geraldine’s are a powerful reminder of how far we still have to go.

@carlystarr82 @coolguy69666 Lived on a plantation in PNG highlands. Babies died every week & sometimes the mums as well. So distressing & so preventable but understandable once you realise that healthcare is not accessible to majority of the population.
Vast majority of expats return home to give birth.
@VoteLewko Daniel Lewkovitz needs to be more respectful of those who serve on a jury regardless of their occupation.
So many heap derision on those who serve but are the same people who seek to be excused from jury duty.
Justice is best served by those willing to participate.
@BradDesmond2 I learnt about the 'good enough mother' in Ed Psychology in the 1980s. What a relief to no longer carry the guilt of not being perfect.
Passed this on to my daughter, a parent and child protection worker. She's an advocate.
The 'good enough' parent is allowed to say sorry.
@Miguel224512091 ? Miguel. Have you ever done jury duty?
Do you understand the complexities or the process?
Four days for a jury to deliberate a highly complex case is not an indication of innocence or guilt.
Not yet reached a verdict means they are carefully considering evidence which is +
@PaulRob11880584@Miguel224512091 Let's not forget the deplorable Alexander Downer, High Commissioner to the UK.
The bloke who orchestrated the bugging of offices of our poorest neighbour, Timor Leste to afford an economic advantage to Woodside.
@GilliantheGP Thanks to the wonderful GPs who care for the elderly & ensure they live their best lives.
Someone who is 90 can live another 10 years & should be afforded the best medical care possible.
Suggesting an older person deserves anything less is disgraceful.
This is not GP fraud.
@M1Aussie@D_Melissa2@JaneCaro@Peter_Fitz Teacher here who has taught in all systems over decades. The disparity between rich private schools & those in low socioeconomic areas is real.
Do not tell me, a compassionate & dedicated teacher of many years that poor kids don't suffer from lack of resources in public schools.
@JohnRuddick2 John Ruddick facts matter.
Aged Care Facilities are not 'nursing homes'.
Thanks to Howard & Costello's privatisation & deregulation we saw the end of nursing homes and 24/7 RN care.
Those who politicised mask wearing & other mitigations left vulnerable people in ACF at risk.
@Just_Krystle_M @senatorbabet2 @UnitedAusParty @LibDemsVic Curriculum design & development is highly complex.
The Australian Curriculum has been designed to provide a framework for all schools across all states & territories.
Victorian Curriculum & Assessment Authority is ultimately responsible for the development of curriculum in Vic
@MCRMelbourne22 @RobWalls16 Flight from Melbourne to Sydney today for daughter to attend funeral cancelled twice, the 2nd time at 10.20 last night. No other Jetstar flight available for today. No way to contact the airline after 10pm.
Qantas and Jetstar are a joke. No credibility.
@JetstarAirways Booked flight for daughter Melbourne to Sydney tomorrow 5 September for my Mum's funeral.
Notified last Friday flight cancelled so rebooked. Tonight at 10.15 notified that flight again cancelled. Can't rebook as no flights available. No phone contact after 10pm.
Service NOT
@CasualCarrie22@MirabowMistress@kaakoda_moore Great that you took Industrial Arts subjects Carrie but not sure where that leaves you after your 'hard wired' comment.
Also, I'm not sure anyone was talking about forcing children to play with gendered toys. It's about choice which is often lacking.
@CasualCarrie22@MirabowMistress@kaakoda_moore Don't think so. I would have loved to have followed my Dad into carpentry and the building trade but wasn't an option 50 years ago.
So I guess you're saying that I'm wired wrong. Not to mention the many girls I have taught who did subjects in the Industrial Arts faculty.
@Aussiefranco @JGademski Source?
Northern Territory has approx 50% of land under Aboriginal Land Council.
Far less, eg approx 10% in Queensland, and other states.
@mariekehardy I was watching while with my Mum who has dementia. In Aged are, in excruciating agony waiting for next dose of morphine & on a loop repeatedly saying the same thing over and over again. So sad.
Couldn't help but draw some comparisons.
Morrison really needs professional help.
