@DhandhaMaulik @nikillinit So true! I can’t even remember the last time I went to a dermatologist yet alone my exact prescription. I would love one place for all my health history instead of 10 secure websites and a Google sheet (my current system)
Waking up every day hoping someone has built a successful decentralized EMR in Web3. @nikillinit explains the idea well in Out of Pocket. https://t.co/JGJnE2X6nT
@Manoj_Pawar@JesseLusa@nikillinit Agreed! Imagine if every consumer was paid a few dollars every time their data was used? Pharma and other purchasers of healthcare data would be willing to pay
@JesseLusa@nikillinit It seems totally possible to build a much better consumer experience in the web3 EMR to create consumer demand. But even then onboarding is painful since most consumers don’t have their entire health history and data today.
Value based payment models should refocus on the patient provider connection and reduce physician burnout. Loved reading @RobertPearlMD summary and wish I had gone to the symposium!
I was heartened this week to see so many passionate and caring people gathered together to solve one of healthcare’s most pressing challenges: healthcare burnout. Lessons from the Healthcare Burnout Symposium #HBS22 in San Francisco. https://t.co/fWTFVw5PAO
Sleep less than 6 hours a night? You’re more likely to get heart disease. Doctors aren’t sure how it works, but they know lack of sleep raises blood pressure, increases your stress level, and boosts adrenaline -- all of which can take a toll on your heart. https://t.co/kyvgNw0PGq
A telehealth visit won't do you any good if you have no internet. But digital access is also a broader social determinant of health—one that insurers are starting to look into.
