@SecKennedy I would love an explanation as to why the government insurance Tricare is allowed to overrule and deny what a physician recommends as treatment. I have been obese going on 20+ years and have tried numerous weight loss diets and medication. I recently joined Weight Watchers and was able to get a compounded Semaglutide which has resulted in a 28 pound weight loss since May 2, 2025. Now Weight Watchers is no longer able to offer this medication due to FDA regulations. When I apply directly to the pharmaceutical company for a discount card so I can continue to receive similar medication, I am not eligible because I have government insurance (Tricare). Why are we being penalized for having Tricare? Tricare has been denying weight loss medication for me for the last 20+ years and the physicians get tired of fighting with them to get it for the patient. Please get this fixed!
