We found that after traumatic injury language minorities experience increased mortality (controlling for patient demographics, mechanism of injury, etc) and hope this work serves as a call to action to do better for our non-English speaking patients #interpreterssavelives

Trauma surgery was a month of extreme growth + infinite midnight uncrustables. So much gratitude for our ladies only trauma team from attending to med student on my last night on service! Appreciated our Queen Team during a heavy night for centering teamwork and compassion ๐ฉต๐๐
