The #AfCFTA Secretariat and the #UBABank signed a legally binding MoU today to partner in providing much-needed #funding to #SMEs to #accelerate the development of the AfCFTA four priority #valuechain sectors. Namely: #Agro-processing, #Transport&Logistics, #Pharmaceuticals and #Automotive sectors.

SMEs account for approximately 80% of jobs in Africa, significantly contributing to wealth creation and socio-economic development, including poverty reduction. The availability of this funding will further boost the sector's invention, innovation, and creative powers and spur the continent into #growth and shared #prosperity.
