The Polish scientist Maria Skłodowska-Curie (she always used both names) was the 1st woman to win the @NobelPrize, 1st person to win it twice and THE ONLY person to receive it in two different sciences. She was also the first woman to become a professor at the University of Paris.
Skłodowska has had the most significant impact on world history, according to a BBC poll of women who changed the world.
She died #OTD in 1934.
