@ShawnWGillogly@jake_stone89 Exactly, like Last Christmas, which is so annoyingly anti-Christmas. Trying to think of a secular Christmas song that shows a spiritual reality, but I can’t think of one. I mean, the closest is All I Want for Christmas is You, but no, we must not sin that grace may abound! 😜
@Man4Christ89@Modern1689 This article was commended to me just yesterday, and I think it's the perfect answer to "Prove it!". Dr. Steve Wellum (of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) does a great job connecting the theology of baptism with the Covenants!

@thekrak3n One time my grandmother came to church with me, we had a baptism. In the restroom after service, she asked, "You didn't have to do that, did you? You were as a baby!" I probably should have waited until lunch, but I think I managed to answer her with both conviction and grace!
@jake_stone89@JesseFOwens Great podcast!! As important as the facts of history are, the way we write about them is just as important (if not more)!! What happened to the opening music though? And yes, I knew that's how you'd recover from saying Protestant!
@ShawnWGillogly Just recently heard Jon English Lee speak on the Sabbath, and he pointed out that saying our souls alone need rest and not our bodies is to have a grossly over realized eschatology! https://t.co/KjMQrfBjj5
