An excellent first in US experience with Volt 2.0 with ICE integration. Having used this technology in trial, LMR, and now 2.0, the newest version adds excellent maneuverability to a refined, effective, and safe platform. Bravo @AbbottCardio@uyaron@JoeProvost7
We’ve seen this phenomenon with all PFA catheters delivering energy on or very near to exposed metal. Stay tuned for a more thorough evaluation to be published in the near future.

Utilization of #AI based tools for delineating cardiac structures with ICE during #AblateVT cases as part of #FIH trials with new @AbbottCardio exceeded expectations - rapid definition of valves, paps in LV:
Enjoyed assisting with some workflow and technology improvements in FIH trials of novel Viewflex X ICE catheter from @AbbottCardio -- we performed ablation of PVC from suspected intramural site with RF to septal RVOT and adjacent ASOV. Will be curious to see what @dhakalbish thinks with his @PennEPFellows based ICE approach in trials tomorrow. Contouring of key structures including pap muscles and ASOV shown below:

The notorious papillary muscle PVC. Originating from lateral aspect of the pap, these bigeminal PVCs were eliminated during the first RF session with the help of the tried and true PDX method.

Monday started with First-in-Human Use of “ViewFlex X SE” ICE Catheter with @AbbottCardio
I've always loved using the ViewFlex ICE for its exceptional image quality, but now with seamless ICE integration into Ensite X, this is a total game-changer that enhances precision like never before.
Some features that stood out to me
🔹 ICE Integration with Grid and FAM Mapping - Real-time visualization that aligns perfectly with 3D GridX and FAM maps. This precision ensures more efficient targeting of critical anatomy, improving procedural accuracy.
🔹 Smooth Transition to the Left Atrium
Despite its softer shaft, the ViewFlex X SE provided excellent maneuverability and control, allowing smooth navigation to the left atrium while maintaining consistent imaging quality.
🔹 Maintaining Outstanding Image Quality
For those of us who’ve always trusted the ViewFlex ICE platform for its superior imaging, this new catheter doesn’t disappoint—it adds seamless integration without compromising clarity.

Happy to share our progress at Abbott Electrophysiology!
We've reached three significant milestones today:
* Enrollment for the global IDE of Abbott's Volt™ PFA System has been completed ahead of schedule.
* The global FOCALFLEX trial is now in progress for Abbott's TactiFlex™ Duo Ablation Catheter, Sensor Enabled™.
* The Advisor™ HD Grid X Mapping Catheter, Sensor Enabled™, has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Patient Hx
3 yrs post Cryo PVI & CTI.
3 months post PFA of posterior wall.
Presented in 340 ms tachycardia. #HDGrid showed scarring with slow conduction through left atrial roof and floor.
Termination at isthmus, confirmed with entrainment, with #TactiFlex.
@LydTrautEP#PMA
Hx 3rd time redo, PVI, previous CTI, and mitral line.
Mitral line reconnection evident with CSP map and CW mitral AFL induction. Ultimately had success at the CS.
@Ashit_EPS@jordinarymaps#PMA
Entrained in from distal CS, roof, and at mitral. Flutter changed activation with a roof line, slowed and ultimately terminated with an anteroseptal line. #PMA
Prior cryo and CTI line for this patient, returned in atypical flutter. Fractionation and slowing on both the roof and mitral annulus, collision on CTI. Where to burn first? #PMA
Excellent maps from @bmetzlerEP on this atrial flutter case!
See how #HDGrid helped identify the pinwheel circuit, leading to a successful #ablation. ⬇️
