Ultimately this comes down to whether or not one perceives this boat as providing a ‘pleasant scene’ in the way that it is portrayed, both to Rabirin and to us the viewer. That is something that you yourself will have to decide on.

I’ve always disliked giving this poorly conceived joke answer to @buildknuckle when a perfectly good reason for the boat’s existence does exist, so I’ll rectify my 6-month old mistake by giving a serious answer that correlates to the season’s theme.
