This support from #KOFIH has helped transform Masaka RRH into a #CenterofExcellence in #Emergency Care Management. Also, Masaka RRH has so far trained 733 trainees; 592 in BEC, 67 in BLS, 59 in ALS and 15 in CFAR for ambulance drivers under KOFIH #EMS project.
This includes; #Emergency#Medical#Services Regional Skills Lab, Accident and Emergency Unit, Call and Dispatch Center, Surgical unit, X-ray machine and the Ambulance Bay among others.
Dr. Nam the DG had a tour at Butenga HC IV. #KOFIH supported facilities that were seen include; Emergency OPD, Call & Dispatch Center, Imaging unit with ultrasound scan/X-ray machine, Surgical ward, Operating theater, Laboratory and Maternity ward which is still under renovation.
On 13th March, 2023 @kofihuganda team also conducted a monitoring visit to #Bukomansimbi where they had a courtesy call meeting with the district leadership. The District CAO and Chairman appreciated #KOFIH support due to reported improved service delivery in the District.
From March 20th to 23th, @MinofHealthUG Dpt of Community Health together with @kofihuganda held the 1st Workshop to develop comprehensive integrated community #homebasedcare Guidelines under #KOFIH Community Health Workers project.

On 13th March, 2023, @kofihuganda team led by KOFIH's Director General Dr. Bok Hyum NAM conducted a monitoring visit to #Masaka Regional Referral Hospital. Together with Masaka RRH leadership team, they went on a tour around KOFIH funded & equipped facilities.
