@AlanR555 it would be naughty to name names. Suffice to say one seems to have fallen down a right wing conspiracy hole, another advocating abandoning experts even though no doubt they condemned such behaviour in the past. Worry is that being on Twitter I too am losing plot. 😱
Is this former candidate for seat now represented (just)
by shadow chancellor willing to name names?
Can he pinpoint those whom we should be assessing
as to whether thay have lost the plot?
PS: What was that plot? Does it still exist?
It’s tough being in government. Fixing the mistakes of the last administration. Needing to reappraise promises. Perhaps we’ll hear less from Labour now about student fees/loans (introduced by them by the way). @LabourCrediton@CDevonLabour Certain degree of schadenfreude.
The safest way to celebrate #BonfireNight is at an organised event 🎇
But if you plan to use #fireworks at home, make sure you know how to keep everyone safe by following the #FireworkCode.

I’m at that point in my Twitter journey (sorry will never call it X) that people who I followed as I felt they had something important to say seem to have lost the plot. Have found unfollowing them makes my timeline mercifully shorter and more rational. 🤷🏻♂️
Out with the Liberal Democrat FOCUS team at Crediton Farmers’ Market. Interesting morning talking to residents about the Labour budget. Probably fair to say it’s divided opinion. Cllrs. Stone, Cairney, Downes and Perriman.
Conservatives betrayed farmers over trade deals and the botched transition to ELMS, causing huge hardship… so Labour had a great opportunity that, today, they have spectacularly missed. I’m determined that Lib Dems will be the voice that farmers and rural communities deserve.
A new electric vehicle (EV) charger has been installed at William Street car park in #Tiverton. 🔋🚗
We now host 18 public charge points at our car parks and leisure centres, with Crediton & Cullompton next in line to receive a new rapid charger.

The Sunshine Bill will mean all new homes will have solar energy generation installed as standard. It means saving money on your energy bills while helping the planet - it's a win-win!

There is an argument that of all the Peers the Bishops have the greatest claim to legitimacy. They have at least faced some form of election in becoming Bishops. A flawed election process perhaps but they are not patronage or hereditary appointments. Abolish them all!
@Paulscriven are you really on the same side as Williamson? Where comes his new found commitment to democracy? Or is it he doesn't like the more social approach they take on issues? 1/2
It's not often that I am on the same side of the argument as Gavin Williamson. But on this I am. It's time to get rid of Bishops having automatic seats in the UK Parliament
Saw an amazing presentation recently at RD&E on using robots to aid surgeons. Existing theatres are not really designed for the robots so there are challenges. New super theatre would help address this. https://t.co/tUVgdLAZS3
"Privatisation should never have happened. 35 years of complete waste. £68bn worth of debt, £78bn of dividends, money that could have been spent on our infrastructure and that wasn’t." - @timfarron
It’s time to put the public first and fix this broken system.
“The Liberal Democrats believe wholeheartedly in our costed manifesto that there should be an addition £1 billion in the agriculture budget. We recognise we can’t restore nature, tackle climate change or produce food on the cheap.” – Thank you @timfarron
2/2. We apologise deeply for the huge inconvenience that this causes.
We hope, however, that we can use the slight delay to our advantage & get even more people to #FloodTheStreets in central London on Sun 3rd Nov. Let’s make this a march to remember! ✊

Farmers should not have vital support removed simply because the previous government chose to withhold £358 million of the agriculture budget from the Farming and Countryside Programme. I asked the Defra Secretary today to confirm that he will not be cutting their funding.
"It feels like they dodged the really important actions they ought to take." - @timfarron
We need a full industry overhaul and a stronger regulator to truly solve the sewage crisis. Liberal Democrats will push the government to go further.
