Footage of life in the city of Aleppo, Syria, when the Christian population was 40% in 1956.
The more Islam is allowed to spread.
The more disgusting everything gets.
"I REMAIN BULLISH ON $ETH"
- Galaxy Digital VP head of research.
He covered Solana for years and was openly skeptical of Ethereum.
Now he's flipped. Here's why:
He says today looks exactly like Solana in 2022-2023, everyone got disillusioned, stopped paying attention, and missed the bottom of the narrative.
The turnaround he's watching:
Ethereum Foundation shrinking its own role "subtraction theory" to protect what actually matters: credible neutrality
ETH Labs and ETH Institutional launching to push adoption
Etherealize with "a lot of irons in the fire" on the institutional side
Glamsterdam upgrade shipping Q3
On the "death of L2s"?
"Very overstated."
Robinhood just launched its L2 on the Arbitrum stack. Institutions want their own controllable ecosystems that settle to .
The roadmap is aligned with where blockchain tech is actually going: privacy, ZK scaling of the L1, quantum resistance.
His take: not enough people are paying attention to what's happening on the ground.
The narrative can shift really quickly.

The largest nuclear bomb in outer space exploded 64 yrs ago today.
Starfish Prime was a 1.4 megaton thermonuclear warhead, detonated at the altitude the Space Station now orbits. It created man-made radiation belts that wrecked many satellites & lasted 5+ years.
A year after the test the USA & USSR signed the Partial Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, leading to the global 1967 Outer Space Treaty.

EthLabs Co-founder Ansgar Dietrichs on why Ethereum must be the central node of the on-chain global economy
“When we say the global economy is coming on-chain, I believe there are two very different ways that can play out. What I see as the default is you have this world of all these different, independent chains [with different use cases] and then you tie them all together with brittle links. Over time you try to derisk these links, but we’ve seen this multiple times in the past — bridges keep failing. Bridges between independent chains can only ever be so secure/robust because ultimately these chains don’t have a shared state.”
Ansgar continues:
“The alternative outcome is one where the global economy has one central node — that doesn’t mean that all the activity is on that node or Ethereum L1, but it means that there’s one central node that everything links back into. We are in a fundamentally better state for the world, when all these different parts of the economy can talk to each other trustlessly and without friction. And we really believe that it’s only Ethereum that can play that role. There is no second-best, neutral chain that actually has a shot at this. But that doesn’t mean it’s inevitable. We could just end up in the worse world.”
This is why EthLabs is focused on, as Ansgar puts it, “talking to the builders in Ethereum, figuring out what are the friction points — especially as we build toward bringing finance and these economic flows on-chain — and iteratively removing them and strengthening Ethereum.”
I don’t care who you are- seeing the President of the United States escorted through North Dakota by the Rough Riders on horseback like Teddy Roosevelt back in 1883 is pretty cool 🇺🇸
