@astro_grich Good that there is WRF out there. However, the moment PAGASA sees that this certain areas is likely to reach 50-100 mm, dapat nagaalert na sila way ahead.

A two-three hour earlier warning for weather advisory could have made a difference esp sa eastern metro manila.

@astro_grich Yep that part I can understand. But, at the end of the day, it’s still a model and it can make mistakes like this day. You have a lot of data and on the ground onservations to understand what’s really happening.

@tam_twist Tbh, PAGASA used to be more on GFS

GFS isn’t really keen on having this kind of impact in NCR (neither is ECMWF)

But as a national weather agency, they should have known better.

P.S it rained heavily before 6 in Pasay-Makati yet red rainfall was declared at 12:47?
