@Cornfrmr Unfortunately for those on a short budget - fast food and processed food is the food of choice because it is the cheapest source of dense calories. And they may not have time to prepare a proper meal.
I could get behind giving low income kids a free breakfast.

Poor health costs all of us due to higher cost of health care and lower productivity. Why don’t we charge everyone $5000 a year if they can’t pass a minimum fitness test? Put that $ toward food research.

@Cornfrmr I don’t believe we can educate better choices. They will take Ozempic and eat poorly because it’s easy.
We agree on the problem, I don’t know how we change bad habits. People still smoke. Education is a waste of $.

@Cornfrmr They will make the same choices. They don’t want to cook at home, and they don’t want to exercise. They know what’s healthy and too often make the unhealthy choice.
I like the hot dogs like they are - a hot dog once a month at Home Depot isn’t gonna kill me.

@Cornfrmr I make the choice to make fries at home just like you described. We have access to healthy food, why do people make poor choices?
Why shouldn’t I fight to protect my access to hot dogs just like I would to my access to a gun?
