Hey @KIRO7Seattle a good consumer story is how local firm @AlaskaAir revoked the most important benefit to their MVP customers in pursuit of the mighty dollar. No reserving exit row for free for tall flyers. I’m off to @Delta.
After 10 years as an @AlaskaAir MVP/MVP Gold, I moved my loyalty to @Delta.
The reason is simple: Alaska took away the benefit I valued most—free exit-row seating—and now wants $100+ per leg
That’s how you lose a decade-long loyal customer. #AlaskaAir#MileagePlan#Delta
The thing about Washington is it sucks.
The weather sucks
The cost of living sucks
The traffic sucks
The one good thing about it was no income tax.
But Bob sucks, so he’s going for total suck.
Washington already has a horrible sales tax.
I might take it up the rear in Oregon with income tax, but I don’t pay sales tax, and have a much nicer place to live.
Sorry neighbors to the north. Fight for your no income tax status
Hold on to your Butts. Warning TLDR

And you still can’t live within your budget. So now you want an unconstitutional millionaires tax
Because you have done polling and if you can tempt Brian Heywood to run an initiative against you then your union bosses are all lined up to spend $10’s of millions of dollars to paint me, millionaires, business owners, entrepreneurs, small manufacturers, successful start ups and anyone stupid enough to help grow the economy here as villains, as bad guys who are making it harder for the average citizen. When, in point of fact, it is your party who for 40 years has been taxing and spending while failing miserably in schools, roads, infrastructure, crime, homelessness, affordability. It is all on you.
You want citizens to:
Please ignore the billions you already take from citizens making their life more expensive.
Please ignore the $9billion you just increased taxes by and still can’t keep up with the wasteful spending increases
Please ignore the money that has been incompetently lost by the state
Please ignore the money that has fraudulently disappeared from state coffers
Please ignore the fact that you cannot track the impact on the climate of the $4.5 billion and counting you have taken from struggling citizens at the pump just from the CCA hidden gas tax
Oh and please ignore the constitution and the law that was passed last year that prohibits the state, counties, or cities from issuing an income tax
And don’t forget that Olympia democrats are already defining millionaires as people making $125K or more a year
And above all everyone please ignore the absolutely horrible polling numbers that show Bob Ferguson is not a popular guy. He needs union money and union support quick or he might get challenged from the Left so here he is to sacrifice the formerly thriving business community on the alter of Union demands.
Millionaires move, average citizens get screwed. This played out in California, and is beginning to happen in WA state.
BREAKING: I support a Millionaires’ Tax on income over $1 million a year.
The fairness of our tax system ranks 50th. Let’s make this historic change this session.
This is a separate proposal from the budget I announced today — revenue would not be realized until 2029.
@sanjiv_yajnik I’ve exhausted standard cust svc routes. We are 15+ yr client spend 2M+/yr on spark & have been fraud frozen since Wednesday, causing big biz pain. Help!
🚨 **Rainier Ave Construction Woes** 🚨
Hey @CityofRenton, the construction on Rainier Ave is turning our daily commutes into nightmares! Tonight at 8:30 PM, it was gridlock with no traffic officers in sight to help manage the chaos.
Some relief soon? #NeedBetterPlanning
