@PGATUOR If you pured it, then it was simply the wrong club. Could be wind or wrong yardage. Ted is the most positive person on earth. Move on and play your best. The past has passed, let it be.
@DefiantLs 2 Peter 2:1 “But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. Many will follow….
@drakesmith__ 8 iron at the lip on steep bunker lie is superior to a 56 sand wedge but no one thinks to bring anything but one club in the sand when its called a sand wedge.
@_raymondwill Every round is just a report card. Edison kept at it until he had a light bulb that worked. Make sure your plan is correct and enjoy the process, my man.
@dangrievegolf Soft shots require soft hands and arms. Keep tension at zero, shaft at vertical, and loft on the face. This is the smooth well executed shot as demonstrated. Now bc it is no tension, there needs to be a longer swing, so the bottom must be precise. Trust it, it works.
@JohnstonGarrett Because freedom in the swing does not guarantee a good position. Notice how low the clubhead is in your practice. The shaft would need to be closer to the yellow highlight. You practiced a bottom out behind the ball practice swing, then executed it exactly as rehearsed.
@ryanmouquegolf Very good explanation of the process of change in a golf swing. There is a plan, commitment, and a battle against the old (ingrained swing). You are changing a habit and unfortunately it takes lots of repetition, time, and patience (good attitude).
@bubbascaddie@HankHaney@ClassicSwingX Keep it fun. Make a contest out of it. Remember golf is a game. Take yarn and make a box or circle around the hole and work your way back in 5’ or 10’ increments to get 3 out of 3 balls in the circle. Make rewards as you ladder your way back. Lagging is learned. He is still 8.
@bubbascaddie@HankHaney@ClassicSwingX Major, no. Love the athleticism and speed. Great body work on backswing. Ball is very forward with driver, hence lots of shoulder turn to start down. Playing catch and batting practice to gain power for his 20’s and fun now w dad. Big kid. Lag putting. Has a solid start!
@TourSwingsTommy Great ball flight off the tee. Now let’s see how he does out of the rough when he misses a fairway. Live by the grip, die by the grip.
@LukeKerrDineen Some of the best putters have used a blade most of their career: Crenshaw, Norman. Trevino won 3 Opens in 1971 with a blade. I personally only use a blade. Manufacturers just don’t offer them is part of the reason but maybe sales were diwn compared to other styles. Great putter.
@tonyash111@McLeanGolf@BiltmoreHotel You are correct in that too many ppl study the effect and miss the cause. Everyone plays with some bias (cause) and tries to neutralize or compensate for the bias. For Hogan and 99% of pros the bias is a hook and the other characteristics that promoted their miss.
@adamyounggolf Except in real world application, the golfer moves the swing bottom to the ball, hence ball forward, steeper and left, ball back, shallower and right like you said.
@LouStagner Another thing ppl don't realize is that do to doglegs, bunkers, and water, some par 5's are just not reachable in 2 by design even for long hitting pros.
