@modernheroestv hi Gary. I have a 2015 Zoe 22kw, range around 80 miles. I need more range but can’t afford anywhere near new or even recent. What’s the best combo of older EV and highest range. Eg E-Niro 2018/19? Others? Size no issue.
To @MarkBillingham - huge thanks for this rollercoaster, to add to the 20+ of yours I’ve read and relished. Can’t wait for whomever’s adventure you bring us next.
@RealtimeTrains Genuine thanks for this whether or not it was released on 1st April. The Give Me Ideas tab with the option to choose your budget is PERFECT.
@RabbiRomain Hi Jonathan. I think on this occasion JW was misrepresented by BBC News’ headline. In my view his full, less-edited interview answer was in line with your last sentence above.
@wildandhigh@LessWasteLaura Sadly they don’t. Some third party ticket sellers will find you the cheapest price and that might technically be a split. But the main train companies eg Avanti, LNER, don’t offer splits as they’d be undercutting themselves.
@LessWasteLaura 2/2 eg Glasgow - London split at Crewe. There’s maybe higher demand (and only one provider) Glasgow - London so Avanti sets the price higher. There’s maybe lower demand Glasgow - Crewe, and more than one provider Crewe - London, so those two lower prices combined are cheaper
@LessWasteLaura I’d say Splitting takes advantage of lower prices for shorter routes combined with competitive pricing for routes with more than one provider 1/2
