@AvaGrace9211 Around the same time, Earth Shoes were a thing. They were high in the toe area they were lower. Maybe it was a California hippie thing but my GF wore them in 75.
@volcaholic1 It looks like the 3rd step is where people start to really push upwards and center themselves for the trek upwards. Unless the bottom two were replaced at some point.
@DoktorTalos@jaynitx Quite the opposite. Bezos seems intransient in arriving at truth. The 12' ceiling question can be determined by measuring it. Aristotle's law of identity A is A was true then as it is now.
The motive force for most men is to attract and maintain a female partner. It is the reason they do extra reps at the gym, the reason they bust their ass at work or in the military. This is true in my life and I think it is for most straight men. Men don't achieve in a vacuum. It's not just about sex but reproductive drive and the male-female bonding experience. We spent 300,000 years or more evolving this way. It wont change anytime soon.
@TheLucyShow1@alovedcupcake I miss the static charge on the old CRT tvs. You could hear the static snap when it turned on and if you put your arm close to the tube your arm hairs would stand at attention. Horribly energy inefficient but what kid in the 70s cared about that?
Yes they are heavy! I had a rear projection High Def TV in early 2000s. Great picture and booming sound. I actually prefer the softer more theater-like image a good one produced compared to the glaring bright 4k flat screens today that need a sound bar. I replaced it with a 4k because to took up too much room. I miss that beast.
