@abigpicklefan @AugustineSeven Phantom Pain has almost no story, but what little there is hinges entirely on your understanding of past games and characters. I would recommend playing through Vol 1 first, then wait for Vol 2, before playing Phantom Pain. 3 and Peace Walker are too important to the story.
