Scottish outdoor adventure professional, formerly based in Marrakech, but now running the Scottish Adventure School, a residential outdoor education centre.
@easyJet As far as I could see, it was only @easyjet that were using this automated system. Your staff were lovely but trying to manage multiple machines was overwhelming for them, for your customers and added far too much time, hassle and stress to the journey
@Alanis totally understand why you chose not to travel to Glasgow for the gig tomorrow night. It would have been an amazing 40th birthday present for my wife Catherine but we’ll see you next time you’re over.
@McClearyJudith I left in 2014 to go into teaching. Ironically, I’m back but only because I’m able to bridge the gap between education and the outdoors in a private school. I hope the government can back these well intentioned ideas with support, hard cash and a long term commitment to success
Fantastic discussion this evening but when the sector has a limited salary potential for professionals, it will struggle to hold onto the talent to lead it. Investment required #saveyouroutdoorcentres
@GeogChat I’ve been doing river studies with my Y8’s for the past 3 years but want to spice it up this year to contrast upper, middle and lower course features. Might take them canyoning, rafting and canoeing at the same time as gathering data. Thoughts?
