Hello Guardians! 🌳

As you may have seen, there has been a bit of fud thrown our way recently related to misconceptions about our work, intentions and interactions with the local communities on the Nemus land and in the region we are working in.

@nemus_earth Change-maker at your service.

The 6th and perhaps most important on the list is to save the AmazonRainforest.. and that is what @nemus_earth is doing!! @greentechlady

Alas, another deforestation record in the Amazon.
Check out how @nemus_earth enables you to actively support the conservation of this critical global carbon sink. https://t.co/JlF9O7ImIj

[Eratosthenes @MarsDundee]

Couldn't agree more.
And proud to support @nemus_earth seeking to achieve both those goals.

[UNDP Climate & Forests @UNDP_CF]

🎋Healthy rainforests and local forest communities are the most effective climate change mitigation we have.

Current rates of deforestation can be nothing but a warning sign. The time to act is now.

Project xpLORE is here!

First, let's touch briefly on two things-
Game & DeFi mechanics.

The game mechanics behind #Nemus offer a series of quests to "explore" an NFT.

While the DeFi mechanics reward Guardians who choose to "conserve" their #NFTs.

A Project xpLORE 🧵

Paths Open vs. Closed

Black Lines = paths closed
Green Lines = paths open

We spend too much time focusing on what might have been (black) and not enough time focusing on what may be (green).

Never underestimate the density of opportunity that lies ahead.

Your dinner decisions may impact the #Amazon.

🌿🌿. Big collab exploring the vast asymmetry between collectors of ecological data, and those who “use” it. No future without community data sovereignty, especially ecological data

Another research alert: Insect numbers collapsing.
A one-two combo of intensive agri. and climate change.
Declines highest in tropics, including Amazon.
Time to support initiatives such as @nemus_earth that support sustainable regen practices that retain natural vegetation.
