So the plan below, a kind of foregone conclusion, is that there will be another conflict with Iran in the fall. No discussion of why, or what the objective is, or the goal; just that it has to happen again and again. Zero discussion of strategy or how it might differ than in June 2025 and Feb. 2026.

When I've noted in the past that Israelis are just resigned to this future in which there is no debate about these wars, and people are just expected to accept that plans are already made, this is what I mean. It's incorrect to characterize the silent majority of Israelis as having any say in this. It's presented as pre-determined and most people have come to accept this.

After June 2025 there was also talk about how there had to be another "round" and it was just a matter of time. Then it happened in Feb. 2026 and now in June 2026 when there is all this hand wringing about how it didn't work out well...rather than step back and say "ok what might be better strategy"...the word is "new conflict planned for after US mid-terms"...?

It's like living in a bizarro world. Rarely in history must there be an example of zombie policy like this. Maybe in the Peloponessian war...
