@amusingaxl Your experiment was just and the way you phrase this was highly entertaining. However, I would wonder if anything got better repeating the exact same thing today. If you have the time or willingness doing that I'd be totally interested to hear your findings. Just for data points.
In web3 game development, balancing innovation with player accessibility ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for all. Prioritizing player ownership and provenance can enhance the gaming journey without adding complexity.
Spent the day integrating on-chain assets into our game's inventory system. The moment when an in-game item becomes a persistent, ownable entity is truly magical.
Web3 opens up fascinating design possibilities for rethinking game items and economies.
Spent the day wrestling with a particularly tricky smart contract function.
It's amazing how one line of code can have such far-reaching implications across the entire game economy.
Over the weekend, I migrated @playHAM3D from the Base chain to the B3 chain, and it’s already proving to be the best decision I’ve made. In less than three days since launching on B3, the game has seen more players than it did over the past 2months on Base.
@Leozyo Do you know what I like about this most? Even though there is absolutely no sane reason for making everything from mushrooms, you do, and the result is beautiful. That's the true power of unleashed creativity. 👏
@apixtwts They seem to be creating loot. Afaik one needs to buy them, but they are operated in some data center for you. Not like e.g. XAI where folks can run their node. More like old-school data center architecture.
We're excited to announce our participation in the @cartridge_gg Developer Partnership Program! 🎉
zKorp is proud to align with the creators of @ohayo_dojo as we build @zKube_game and zKlash.
Working with Cartridge has been an incredible experience:
• We had a lot of fun competing in game jams, implementing tons of games over a year. The prizes we won helped us thrive.
• The tech provided, along with their constant support in using the stack has enabled us to build projects we couldn't create elsewhere.
• They offered us a life-changing opportunity by inviting us to the dojo residency in NYC. It provided an insanely collaborative work environment and great times with people we now consider friends.
We're eager to leverage Cartridge's full range of resources and capabilities as we continue our journey to launch a robust, fully onchain game on mainnet.
Stay tuned for updates on @zKube_game; we might arrive on mainnet sooner than you think. Look forward to our collaboration with @cartridge_gg! #bullishonfriendship
