As I conclude my term of office, I reflect on the profound journey we have undertaken together.

I had the honor of presiding over the opening ceremony and inauguration of the new leadership of the East African Youth Parliament @EACYParliament . Congratulations to Rt.Hon. Alak Andrew (South Sudan 🇸🇸) and his deputy Rt.Hon. Akamutuha Coviiren (Rwanda🇷🇼), I have no doubt you will serve extremely well.

Serving the youth of East Africa has been an invaluable learning experience and a significant opportunity for personal growth. I have been fortunate to receive mentorship from esteemed leaders in both governance and EAC integration. Collaborating with @EACYouthLeague to host #EACYouthSeminas across member states has allowed us to sensitize our youth and expedite the integration process within the EAC.

The youth of East Africa represent a powerful force for successful and transformative integration, It is therefore crucial that we establish clear and functional policies that not only include us but actively involve us in fostering youth input, capacity building, opportunity creation, representation, and engagement.
Together, we can make East Africa a beacon of progress and unity.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to several key individuals and institutions:
