On a recent trip to #London I was struck by sunshine + throngs of #bicycle commuters! #Cycling makes up 3.1% of daily trips in London, up from 2.7% in 2019. Does that seem high or low?

In NY the figure is 4%: highest in the US, followed by SF

Well put, @streetsblogkea: 96% of city blocks in New York clocked more than 200 pedestrian trips a day, with drivers averaging 25 MPH 84% of those streets. In nearly every other US though, going slow is a rarity.
