@duncan_dine @wildflower_hour I planted yellow rattle in my paddock four years ago. Last autumn I borrowed three sheep to graze it as a result this is the best year I’ve had for the rattle. Everywhere it’s grown well the grass is weaker.

@Davidjsalter Yes a dilemma, leave it long for the wildlife or cut it short so the cat has less chance of ambushing the wildlife.

Aylburton Common Goshawk noisily flushed from woods this morning by two angry crows. Also had male Greenfinch singing from blackthorn in my garden for third morning.
Pair of Bullfinches feeding on marsh marigold seeds around garden pond several times this week. #GlosBirds
