@helaineolen @ShannonJones If you are interested in issues of homelessness, today in Las Vegas police did illegal sweeps on private property that provided huts/safe housing for local homeless individuals. They demolished the huts, displacing peaceful new residents as well as arresting a volunteer

@CarrieKaufman @MjLyle This happened literally today. New Leaf Community is an organization that specifically works on building housing for homeless in our community. I have a direct phone # and email for them. They are able to explain better than I can.

@CarrieKaufman this needs to be put on BLAST! This is horrendous. They also very illegally searched a volunteer's vehicle. This is the 2nd time Las Vegas has destroyed homes built for people with housing issues!!!
