@jesse115115 @layup79 Uhm... Maybe start by Joining the FACEBOOK group for Less Than Kind. That may give you an idea of who to collaborate with. Determine the event size based on expected audience, budget, resources, anything from a local meet-up to a multi-day thing with guest speakers, panels etc.
@TheBlackHoof Hey, I stuck my head in The General Public on Geary this afternoon. I called out that the place, even under construction looked gorgeous. Was it you who I was speaking to? Do you have an opening date?
Shuli Zayek, a 50-year-old from Israel, was shocked when a Greek kayaking company refused her service because she is Israeli, citing the situation in Gaza.
Initially accommodating, Sea Kayaking Kefalonia changed their response after seeing Hebrew captions in her photos. “It's a terrible feeling,” she said, “I'm shocked, I felt like I was slapped in the face.”
She added: "Most Greeks are friendly, but this needs to be known."
This blatant discrimination and bigotry is a direct result of the hate speech against Jews and Israelis online. Everyone should condemn it.
@wiesewisdom I wanted to thank you for including @lessthankind in your article https://t.co/CQrbCE1lBX
Everyone involved LESS THAN KIND considers it a show about family that created family amongst the crew and creatives. Nice to read that others get the vibe too.
Lord no. Astonished to see this use of emotional blackmail to try to compel women's speech. If we can't call men men, we can't argue to keep them out of women-only places. Extraordinary that someone supposedly liberal is so blind to the uses of free speech.
@MalcolmNance Wow. That is one of the most cult-like diatribes I've heard. The level of ignorance, racism and antisemitism is so...wow. The ease in which the tik-tok generation can be re-programed just scares the hell out of me .
@KenRoth You're not the Human Rights Watch Executive Director anymore so your revisionist reinterpretation of Donoghue's revisionist reinterpretation doesn't matter either right?
