PLEASE HELP!!! my mask was stolen by some stupid ketchup otter in chimney canopy on 1689.238. IF YOU SEE HIM PLEASE ALERT ME. my friends keep attacking me. ):
@cleelandi@VinnyVanYiffy@keelyclove that might have been what the commenter meant. but then it was taken in a sexist way instead of a general jerk joke. it could be either, who knows.
@GarbageWastes I think, since you can rarely encounter iggy as hunter, that he noticed hunter helping moon and decided that other slugcats might be able to help her too.
@GarbageWastes I'm not sure she ever anticipated even being revived... NSH definitely didn't, from the way he talks in his pearl about her (he did not mention that she collapsed, only that she wasn't producing water) and then the whole revival cutscene looking like something "went wrong..."
@GarbageWastes --and a whole lot of the narrative around iterators is that they were given terrible responsibility they never wanted. so it confounds that theme of the narrative even if unintentionally
@GarbageWastes thanks for the long reply. now that you put it in the context of her being "big sister," I see the problem. she never chose to be the big sister in the way a mother chooses to have children, so making her a mother diminishes her legitimacy to struggle against that responsibility.
@GarbageWastes I don't understand what is inherently wrong with having a character that is "motherly." It's one thing to say all feminine-coded characters have to be forgiving and nurturing, and an entirely different thing to just have a female character who is forgiving and nurturing.
@Bensam123TV@hotwheelsjack@sneepsnorp3d Other fish in the family have the same adaptation that lets them stand on the substrate, just less extreme than this. They stand like that to feed, so there's pressure for them to feed at different heights to reduce interspecific competition- thus some get taller.
@Textilismusic@MrdarktailsV@chonzodraws they might have the extension that automatically blocks bluechecks. at this point the check has become the most reliable feature to tell you someone is a bot. just sharing spaces could have gotten you blocked automatically, mistaken for one of the mountains of blue bots.
@redunderscore_ the noble benefactors lost their fucking minds. this was before the slab mongers even started to get traction in the local group. they told me "no more ps4" and PERMANENTLY disabled my video games module. I had to run parallel gene edits to get it back eons after they all left.
@Azazel750 @Orribec also, both Sacabambaspis and Arandaspis are named after the local people who lived near each respective fossil's discovery site-- the village of Sacabamba, and the Aranda (now Arrernte) indigenous people, respectively.
@Azazel750 @Orribec perhaps you are thinking of Arandaspis? it is the lesser known (but actually probably more scientifically significant) relative of Sacabambaspis.
the end of the name, "aspis," means "shield." most fish from this time have "aspis" in their name due to their armored dermal plates.
