ABs can help by getting vaccinated – if you haven’t got your 1st dose, this is the time to do it. And if you’re eligible for a 2nd, book it now. The quicker we can do this, the safer we will all be. We’ve come far & are seeing real progress. (8/9)
@barb_hill Great question! Most gelatin products are not halal. Otherwise non-alcoholic chocolate should be safe. I gave out chocolates this Eid.
My in-laws like to buy treats through fundraisers like Islamic relief as gifts.
If you’re eligible & on the fence about whether to get the vaccine, I urge you to do so. It is the best available protection. By being vaccinated, you will reduce the risk of COVID-19 for you & those you love & help to reduce spread of this virus in your community. (9/9)
I am proud today to be among the Albertans now eligible to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine. By choosing to be immunized, I am protecting myself, my family & my community. AZ remains a smart choice if you are 40+ & not part of phase 2B/C so you can get your vaccine quickly. (1/3)
If you’re now eligible, but are feeling hesitant about getting the vaccine, please talk to a healthcare professional that you trust.

I don’t know what’s right for everyone but I do know what’s right for me.
If I had to choose between the AstraZeneca vaccine now, during the height of the third wave, or a Pfizer vaccine 4 months from now, I would choose the AstraZeneca vaccine now.

Vaccines aren’t just about protecting the individual. They’re about protecting the people we’re in contact with that aren’t eligible for the vaccine and reaching herd immunity. Every time someone in my bubble gets vaccinated, I feel a little safer.

Acting like a person is so lucky to be around you that you can treat them however you like - is not normal. It’s a narcissistic behaviour that’s been normalized by some dysfunctional social circles. #bombargo
Hey #bombargo,
No means no. But shaking and crying also means no. Any resistance means no.
All sexual acts/touching requires enthusiastic consent.

@WendyAirdrie Yep I’m tutoring online this term! I usually tutor university students but I’ve done a few high school students. I’d need to know what topics beforehand in case they don’t overlap with my area of expertise.
When my 4 year old asks to whisper in my ear, he’s usually going to whisper ‘I love you’ or make a poop joke. Today he screamed at the top his lungs. I am not okay.
Did you know that when restaurants open up again tomorrow, you don’t have to go? Like you can still support them by ordering food for pick up and not risking the lives of the people that work there
We need to teach our children about the importance of mental health and how to talk about it. Ending the stigma starts young. Normalize mental health days and practicing self-care for our little ones. 💙 #BellLetsTalk
