Take it from one of Trump’s top economists, and a born & bred Missourian, Dr. @aaron_hedlund - MO’s Amendment 5 is GREAT for all Missourians! #MOGov#MOLeg
I'm a hobby economist and a big fan of the fair tax. Stop taxing what people produce and let families keep more of their paycheck.
Amendment 5 moves Missouri in exactly the right direction. Vote yes in August.
Did you know that lobbyists have less financial burden than you do?
Because of the 200+ tax loopholes in the Missouri Constitution, these little sneaks are allowed to slither around without any obligations while the local mom and pop shops make up for them.
Vote YES on Amendment 5 and get rid of these exploitative loopholes that are holding
Missouri's economy back!

It’s a TRAGEDY!
Why would we want to keep a system that “increasingly taxes work and subsidizes nonwork”? 🤷♂️
Friedman believed that consumption should be taxed because income that is saved and invested helps create future economic growth. 📈
Reagan explained that “when you tax something, you get less of it”. Taxing productivity hinders growth.
Goldwater believed a consumption tax was simpler and allowed Americans to keep more of what they earned. 💵🔥
Coolidge discouraged any taxation that constrained economic growth and that growth comes from allowing individuals and businesses to retain more of their earnings.
Let’s get Missouri on the right track!
Vote YES on A5!

You keep more of every paycheck. Income taxes reduce the reward for working, earning raises, or starting a business.
You keep more of every paycheck!!!

@restore_GI_Bill That is Article X, Section 18(e) and is not part of the original 1980 Hancock Amendment.
It was added in through the legislature in 1996.
Why are you quoting it like it’s the 1980 Hancock Amendment?
