On this day in 2006 Julian #Assange created @wikileaks.

Julian is 52 now. He was 38 when WikiLeaks published Collateral Murder and was last free. The video shows the US army killing a dozen civilians, including two Reuters employees on assignment and the rescuers who stopped to help the wounded. Reuters formally attempted to obtain the video but the Pentagon refused to hand it over. The evidence of what had happened remained on US military servers until intelligence whistleblower Chelsea Manning sent it to WikiLeaks.

Collateral Murder had a massive impact. The millions of dollars that had been poured into Pentagon PR messaging couldn’t make the public unsee the war crime.

We all know The RESTRICT Act is the Patriot Act for Social media but here is why:
-It expands executive power to restrict apps. (It does not stop at TikTok)
-It limits the ability for Americans to challenge those actions in court.
-it imposes civil and criminal penalties for evading those bans.
-it has major freedom of speech and expression violations
-it neutralizes free enterprise

I’m not done:

The Senate released a similar bill called The DATA Act last week, which grants the Secretary of Commerce new authority to prohibit people from using apps and products from companies “subject to the jurisdiction of China” and other “foreign adversaries.”

“Foreign adversaries” are pretty much just everyone not NATO, thanks to the impending world war with China and Russia, the realigning of axis powers, and we are up to eight countries who have turned away from the US dollars and will begin using the Yuen.

Did you know Japan broke with US Allies last week and are buying Russian oil now? Yeah, this happened the same day the Senate put forth the DATA act.

The RESTRICT act and the DATA act will serve to restrict Americans from information on what is going on outside the NATO echo chamber at this crucial time, and that is absolutely by design.
