FLASHBACK: in 2010, weeks after Election Day, Kamala Harris won California’s attorney general race by less than 1% after a surge of mail-in ballots from Los Angeles County erased her opponent’s lead.
@MendlovitzMark@IsaiahLCarter It was impossible then and it’s impossible now. Same playbook, same result. Except this time we are HYPERsensitized to watch for shenanigans
Think a little harder James. You can’t control in person votes. Or legitimate mail in votes (which shouldn’t be happening at all). You can control a handful of mail in ballots that “come in” after the election is “over” - you have lots of time to sort through ballots and discard those that you don’t want. And sift in selectively enough to swing the outcome just so…why they don’t also give some votes to Bass in this case I have to think about a little harder. Could just be stupidity.
EDITORIAL DOUBLE STANDARD: When I was a senior investigative correspondent at CBS News (2019–2024) I was stunned by how little due diligence some colleagues did on Southern Poverty Law Center's claims....
Versus their “attack dog” mentality applied to right-leaning non-profits and think tanks.

@IDF Looks like the gongs are heating up. Iran is not negotiating in good faith (no surprise) the Israelis and U.S. needed to make absolutely certain that there is no other choice. Which of course there isn’t
Right except a large number of people on the left are so beholden to their media masters and echo chambers they inhabit that they will not be able to accept facts of the CA mayoral vote counting. And then not able to apply that to Fulton County, Maricopa County, Wayne County and many other places in 2020 where votes coming in after Election Day changed the outcome
I stopped caring about Broadway the night of Trump’s victory in 2016. We happened to be in NYC that day (our MA town allowed early voting and we kind of forgot it was Election Day 🙄). Had our three boys with us and went to a Broadway show that night. Will never forget the funereal mood of the cast that came out on stage after the show (not part of the program) to tell us how we were all completely screwed because Trump won the election.
These people posting about how this is democracy in action are pushing pure propaganda and gaslighting like crazy. Anyone with half a brain has figured out by now that the cheating is happening via ballots being filled out and filtered into the system that - according to CA rules - look completely legit. The rules are so bonkers that it is hard to believe CA is part of a 21st century Western republic. No signature validation, in fact a “mark” validated by a “witness” counts. No ID check. No real chain of custody for these mail in ballots. No, we’re seriously not that stupid. But keep talking crazy nonsense. It just digs the hole deeper
Trump should show up here at the L.A. County ballot processing center because he’d learn within five minutes this is democracy in action, not some conspiracy.
The Senator said it best. It was the honor of a lifetime to jump into Normandy and take part in the commemoration events recognizing those who served and sacrificed on the anniversary of D-Day.
Very grateful to @SecWar, the @USSOCOM Para-Commandos, @USAmbFrance, and Senator Sheehy.
Everybody watching California realizes this is the same thing they did across the country in 2020.
Blue precincts held back their totals until they learned how many ballots they needed to harvest in order to overturn Election Day results.
When statistically impossible things happen, we should not be expected as a society to accept them. Evidence of fraud isn’t limited to video surveillance. Statistical impossibilities are hard evidence of fraud.
I was leaning toward Pelley intentionally getting himself fired to martyr himself - but with this answer, it appears he really thought he was indispensable and untouchable.
Interesting…it does seem that the Trump Administration, RNC and CA republicans might be planning something post-vote count. One reason the CA dems are taking so long to finalize votes, IMO, is to give as little time until the general election as possible for cure.
Anyone who thinks this can't happen is forgetting that the Democrats did it to the GOP back in the 80s.
In 1982, the Democrats sued the RNC, upset that Republican Thomas Kean had eked out a narrow victory in the New Jersey gubernatorial election. The RNC employed a Ballot Security Task Force that worked to combat voter fraud in minority (Democratic) areas of the state and Democrats alleged that this was a violation of the Voting Rights Act.
Rather than going to trial, the RNC entered a consent decree that prohibited them from engaging in any activities to combat electoral fraud. The RNC sought to lift the consent decree for decades but were consistently blocked by Judge Dickinson Debevoise, a Jimmy Carter appointee. The courts did eventually agree to add an expiration date to the decree, but the judge still retained the power to indefinitely extend the decree if the Democrats filed suit.
Debevoise continuously refused to lift the consent decree until he died. In *checks notes* 2015. The decree was formally lifted in 2017; the Democrats tried to extend it again, but were smacked down by the courts the next year.
I don't think it's a coincidence that Democrats everywhere began loosening restrictions on mail-in voting and the like starting in 2018. With the consent decree gone, the RNC was no longer restricted in curbing Democrat electoral fraud, so the Democrats decided to change the rules of the game to keep themselves in power.
Remember that the original consent decree happened because of a STATE election. If the Democrats are found to have violated federal law by stealing the elections from Spencer Pratt and Steve Hilton, the Trump administration can very easily Uno reverse card them, and given that they've admitted ongoing voter fraud investigations in California, it's likely they will.
