According to reports published by “Qiyamat Watan”, a media outlet affiliated with the Damascus authorities, Israeli military vehicles and troop movements were observed along the southern border strip extending toward the Jordanian frontier, amid reports of new deployments and reinforcements in the area.

As of the time of writing, neither Syrian nor Israeli officials have issued any statement regarding the nature of these movements, raising questions about the lack of official clarification and whether the region may be heading toward new developments on the ground.

Previous reports have pointed to increasing Israeli military activity and fortifications in southern Syria over recent months.

🚨 Jordan Intercepts Four Drug-Smuggling Attempts Linked to Syrian Government-Controlled Areas.

Meanwhile, figures such as @Charles_Lister continue to promote narratives targeting Sweida and the #Druze community, despite repeated interceptions and documented smuggling operations originating from areas far outside Sweida’s control.

For months, pro-government media outlets and have tried to portray Sweida and the Druze community as the source of drug smuggling in southern #Syria.

Yet once again, #Jordan has announced the interception of four drug-smuggling attempts using electronically guided balloons launched from the Syrian desert—areas under the control of the Syrian authorities and their security forces.

The question remains: how many more smuggling operations must be intercepted before the false accusations against Sweida are abandoned?

Facts matter. The routes, launch areas, and repeated interceptions tell a very different story from the propaganda that has sought to demonize an entire community. The truth is becoming harder and harder to hide.

‼️🇸🇨 Druze Brothers Stabbed in Sahnaya, Months After Previous Sectarian Attack.

Ribal Suleiman Baraka and his brother Louay Suleiman Baraka were hospitalized on Monday, June 8, after being stabbed inside their shop in the city of Sahnaya, rural #Damascus.

According to local reports, two unidentified assailants stormed the store, attacked the brothers with knives, and fled the scene.

The incident comes just months after Ribal Baraka was assaulted near Al-Jazeera Private University on the Daraa Highway following what was described as a campaign of incitement targeting Druze students. During that attack, a group of students allegedly subjected him to sectarian insults and threats, while some filmed the assault on their phones.

The two brothers are members of the #Druze community from the Mount Hermon region.

Today, Druze families in Sweida are experiencing similar pain, as relatives have remained forcibly detained or held captive since Black July 2025 by Al-Julani’s forces in Damascus, which are driven by the same ideology of extremism, intimidation, and sectarian violence as Hamas.

Adding to the urgency, a number of Druze detainees held in Adra Prison have entered a hunger strike demanding their release, as concerns grow over their condition and continued detention.

The pain of waiting, the fear for loved ones, and the demand for their safe return are feelings shared by every family facing captivity and uncertainty.

Sultan Pasha al-Atrash was a prominent Druze leader who commanded the Great Syrian Revolt against the French.

Jabal Druze State officially ceased to exist in 1936.
After annexation, the central Damascus government appointed Nasib al-Bakri as governor of Jabal al-Druze. This decision deeply alienated the local Druze population

Yigal Allon Plan:
Yigal Allon proposed the creation of an independent Druze state in the aftermath of the 1967 Six-Day War.
This included the The Golan Heights & the mountainous region in southern Syria, centered around the city of As-Suwayda.

The terrorist de facto authority in Damascus and its media outlets are claiming that they have secured the release of the terrorists who were captured in Sweida during the terrorist attack on the city last July.

At the same time, this Syrian terrorist authority has been presenting itself to the world as being committed to holding accountable those responsible for the massacres committed against Druze and Christian civilians in Sweida. Now that these individuals are in its custody and have reportedly confessed to what they did, it has become clear that this authority is continuing its policy of deception and terror.

However, Raed Zein Al-Din and Safwan Tayseer Al-Kadamani, the driver who was transporting the family on May 24, remain in captivity.

The Druze family was abducted while traveling on the Damascus–Sweida road and was later taken to Homs, where the two men are reportedly still being held.
