@Andrew_Adonis Most teachers would listen to someone who had experience in the job. Would you take feedback from me on your lords speech seriously? Very easy to call for accountability up there on your high horse. Teachers are bending over backwards to go above and beyond, just not publicly
@Andrew_Adonis@Ofstednews So you’ve spoken with heads? You’ve experience of teachers workload? You’ve visited schools recently? You’ve contemplated the fact that everyday they’re putting themselves and their families at risk whilst coming up amazing online activities whilst coping with everything- oh wait
Had a bit of a hiatus from twitter for a while. Transitioning from teacher to running my own private tutoring business has been challenging but incredibly rewarding so far. Positive vibes for 2020 👊 Good luck to all the teachers fighting the good fight especially the NQT’s 💪🤙
@_mrmorgs On crumpets is unreal for breaky but also an underrated shout would be in the middle of a digestive biscuit sandwich at break time - try it - thank me later! Better feeling then when your SEN pulls out a ripper of a lesson in front of the head for an observation!
@RachelOrr @Y6SUPPORT I’m on tutor hunt somewhere on an old profile and also looked into First tutors ironically! Don’t know if I could put my own business profile on there not now though 🤷♂️might be worth looking into though :) thanks 🙌
I’ve made the step away from the classroom and into my own tutoring business full time - Looking for help with a couple of ‘non negotiables’ for content for a Maths Y6 Course pre SATS - any help gratefully received @Y6SUPPORT
please share the site guys!

@RachelOrr @Y6SUPPORT I’ve been doing 1:1 for a couple of years so I have a small network but obviously looking for a wider network reach now - shame we are at opposite ends of the country by the look of it - you don’t have any good tutoring contacts near Southampton do you? 😂
@RachelOrr @Y6SUPPORT Hey @RachelOrr The business will be a combination of Small group work for Maths and English after school, working with Home Ed kids aswell, maybe running some Maths Investigations in local schools during the day (used to do that as an after school club)
@secretHT1 We’ve basically volunteered for this because we’re smart but lazy, the teachers trust us so we are going to string this out for the next hour and we miss English - I hope you’re wearing comfy trainers Mrs Peters...
