There is nothing more insulting to a South African than watching a tender funded by our taxes, meant to serve our people awarded to a foreign national while our own citizens remain jobless. It is not just unfair. It is a betrayal.

Every government tender is public money. It comes from the pockets of South Africans nurses, teachers, factory workers, pensioners. It is supposed to uplift our communities, empower our businesses, and create jobs for our youth. Instead, it flows to foreign nationals often through fronting, corruption, or sheer negligence while our own qualified, capable people are sidelined.

How does a foreigner get a tender to supply school uniforms? To cater for government events? To build roads? To clean municipal offices? They are not even supposed to be eligible. But they are connected. Or they have the cash to bribe. Or they have the papers that officials choose not to verify. And South Africans lose. Not because we are lazy. Not because we are unskilled. Because the system has been sold to the highest bidder.

Our people are not asking for handouts. They are asking for a fair chance. For a level playing field. For a government that remembers who it was elected to serve.

South Africa belongs to South Africans. And we are taking it back.

A foreign national collected R300 for illegal electricity connections from 14,000 people living on a specific property.
