10+ year in real estate investing shaped how I think about capital, risk, & long term decisions. Less about transactions, more about structure, timing, & compounding. Grateful to join @1322advisors & broaden this through financial planning & investing. #FortWorth#WealthBuilding

A prosperous & opportunistic country is what we all desire. Most importantly, a country where we can freely & safely speak values to one another without fear of hateful or harmful attacks. (2/2)
As leaders we cannot succumb to participating in hateful rhetoric regardless of political views. Leadership starts inside every individual & becomes evident when doing by example. Not by allowing rhetoric/media to fuel continual hate against one another & divide us further. (1/2)
When you take an oath of office, you have a responsibility to encourage civility, kindness, and decency. As elected officials and community leaders, we are held to the highest standard, and we owe it to the people we represent to always be above board. Yesterday we saw the worst example of this by one of my fellow Council Members, essentially condoning violence because of someone's political views. It is very clear that the killing of Charlie Kirk was a political assassination, and there is no justification for evil.
I have been heartened by the leadership we saw across the country, from leaders of every political view who all understand their role. Utah Governor Cox said yesterday that if anyone celebrated the news of Kirk’s shooting, “I would beg you to look in the mirror and to see if you can find a better angel in there somewhere.” May we all find our better angels.

@SublimeTX@cys_simon@CollinRugg Correct. Not an issue w/ staffing or fed’ cuts. Per NWS SCH, Greg Waller, “We had adequate staffing. We had adequate technology,”
Fault point is on prem’/upstream alert systems (e.g. water level monitors triggering unsafe threshold evacuation sirens)
