If the pattern continues the next figure would have 23 cubes because each figure is adding 6 blocks. In addition, I noticed that it would look like three "H's" put together. #octmchat
@Ellyn_naomi I agree, I really enjoy working with elementary school students. I loved my 2nd grade placement when I had the opportunity to teach money and time in math class. I could tell that the students liked learning about concepts that they could use in real life.
A1: In elementary school I was not connected with my community in math. However, I think that it is beneficial to be involved in the community because it creates authentic learning experiences. #octmchat
@Ellyn_naomi This is a great way to involve parents and community members. Math games make learning new math skills fun. Therefore, I think that teachers should use math games frequently in their classroom and for homework. #octmchat
@kathy25 That sounds like a lot of fun! It is a good way to get students involved and engaged in their learning. I think that these experiences make math interesting and connects to real life. #octmchat
